“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid. My stay was going well until a very serious incident completely changed my experience. While I was out on a tour, someone entered my room, stole cash, and attempted to use my credit cards to make purchases totaling more than €2,500. Although I accidentally left these items in my room while rushing out that morning, this should never happen in any hotel, especially one with such highly rated reviews. What was even more disappointing……

“I liked the location, the room itself is nice and tidy, but the AC would go off at times at night, since it works on sensors it goes off when it doesn’t detect you, it was not until 2 days prior to our departure that we got told about a switch to prevent that from happening. The rooms need more care and cleaning, our first room the floor wasn’t clean, the second the AC on one room wasn’t working and there was no TV, and the third one had a broken window curtain so I had to use a sheet to cover……

“The cleaning ladies are very diligent and caring to visitors. The only thing I really don’t like is that when I arrive in the morning after long flight and will stay for 4 days they say the early check in will charge euro 49. I thought it’s fair and then I decline it. However when I checked out I saw a same situation and the desk voluntarily ask the customers to come back in an hour and the room will be ready in the morning. It’s differing treatment which makes me feel unfairly treated ”
