"First, the front desk staff, although not always available due to thin staffing, were very responsive and friendly. The room I was assigned was just OK. The walls were scarred a bit and whoever tries to paint the walls should learn that there is a useful product called "masking tape" that can protect door frames or other structures from partial brush-strokes and different colors. The room was at least clean, but the bed was too soft for me and left me stiff and sore in the mornings. The furnishings in the room didn't match at all, with one example being a footstool of a dark material next to an armchair made of a grey fabric. The complimentary breakfasts were good enough for sure, but varied little from day-to-day. The juice dispenser was broken and not repaired during my stay. Bottom line: fine, friendly staff, good enough pricing, average maintenance. Would stay there again, mainly driven by lower room pricing than other places. Recommended."

"This is an excellently managed and well thought out facility with breakfast including gluten free bagels and an excellent choice of foods. There is also a complete laundry (with rolls of quarters available at the front desk); a pool and a very well equipped workout facility….just remember it has an elevation of over 7000 feet so you will be out of breath. Even if you decline housekeeping service they will leave a basket with clean towels, coffee and cups each day. All for a very reasonable price."
Funky and Charming Home!

"This place has a ton of potential, and the owner is a super nice guy. The house is old, and it's age shows. When we stayed, the owner was in the process of making some improvements, which honestly need to be made. He was painting the exterior and fixing up the yard, but got derailed by a very invasive construction project, which should very soon be finished. He also mentioned that he was planning to get new carpet, which I was glad to hear, because the carpet is definitely showing its age. The front room, the bathrooms, and the kitchen are all very nice and the bathrooms seem to have been updated to some measure. The bedrooms and other areas could use some new furniture and some sprucing up. The best thing about this house is its size and its capacity to sleep a large group. I can't recall what the listing says, but, if you have people willing to sleep on couches, I think you could easily sleep as many as 14 people in this house. There are beds and couches everywhere, at least a couple of which are in odd places. The hot tub is very nice and it was very clean. The location is also spectacular, right across the street from Laramie's best park, and a short walk from a nice movie theater. If you are a real stickler for properties that are new and precisely maintained, then this house is not for you. But, if you're on the easier-going side and don't mind an old house that feels old, then you'll find a great value here, especially if you have a large group."
