“Overall the stay was very nice. There was a small issue with the A/C which the host discovered (from remote NEST access) and the repair was done the next morning already - Thank you! The initial notification with the check-in information did not get through (I wonder if that's an issue with VRBO, because that happened the second time to us) The location is not the nicest area of Athens (that would likely be south of the city center), but it close to the center. Thanks a lot!”

“The stay was great. The location was amazing as it is literally across the street from campus and right by the restaurants and bars downtown. I was worried that it might be loud at night but it wasn’t that bad. Would definitely stay again. It’s a little pricey but worth it for such a close, convenient location. ”

My bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby! The neighborhood was quiet and I felt extremely safe. The host was very attentive and responded quickly to any of my questions. “We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at The Cottage in Monroe. The beautiful historic home is clean and spacious with restored hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout. The wide front porch and well-equipped pool and patio area were especially relaxing. The beds were extremely comfortable, and our hosts supplied everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The downtown Monroe area is walkable with fabulous restaurants and cute shops. I highly recommend Jordan and Patrick as your hosts!”

“Boy was I surprised! Remodeled cottage with nice furnishings and great location. Well stocked kitchen (although I wasn’t there long enough to enjoy it except for a cup of tea!). House has a lot of history and new owner definitely put a lot of thought into the remodel. Highly recommend. If back in Athens, I will stay here again.”
