“They started laying carpet and had blocked the doorway. They were so helpful and very concerned about my safety. (I use a cane). They helped me get the luggage cart from the entry, over the blocked doorways and back out to the lobby after I had loaded it. The desk manager helped me take the cart akk the way to my car and helped me Unload it. He definitely went beyond with kindness. I am already booked in for my return trip home. Excellent halfway point between my friends home and mine.”

“Such a great hotel: we were driving for hours and needed a clean, safe place to stay last minute with two kids. The hotel is modern and very clean, the pool was super fun for the kids and I was super impressed by all the stuff. The front desk people were super nice at check and check out and the lady responsible for serving breakfast was exceptionally friendly, caring and kind. “Really cool CCC-made cabins that are so solid. Cool inside but they have AC and a gas fireplace with a small fridge and TV with digital channels. LOTS of character. Some false ladybugs and you may get a visit from a resident mouse but put a granola bar out for her and she’ll party in the bathroom and stop making noise in the bedroom. The restaurant food is really good—try the fish fry! And the area is beautiful and great for walking/hiking, birding, and fishing/wading. Plenty of parking.”

“This was the worst experience ever. They are not even worth the 1 star, but I had no choice than to press that for "terrible" to be able to add my comment. Stay away! The manager and staff are rude, none of the rooms were unprepared for guest, the lobby was dusty due to construction (material in the hallways), room keys not working. Do not trust the pictures because they had zero amenities and nothing available. Plus they refused to return our money and lied to expedia on their conditions.……
