Welcome to the Blue Door House.

THERE IS A $100 PET FEE PER STAY. WE LOVE FLUFFERS. WE THINK THEY SHOULD VACAY WITH THE FAMILY TOO.

Clean, spacious and well stocked, this home is conveniently located in a friendly walkable neighborhood. There are nearby restaurants, grocery and shopping options. The historic river village of Fairport Harbor is just a few mins away w/ a dog friendly beach, kayaks and paddleboard rentals. Mentor Headland Beach is close, and known for excellent beach glass hunting. Cleveland and wine country are w/in 30 mins in either direction. Geneva on the Lake offers go carts, zip lining, putt putt, etc...

Exceeded All Expectations
We booked this property for the eclipse because everything seemed to be booked in Cleveland for the Women’s NCAA basketball Final Four. We feel so fortunate that we found this lovely home. The home is tastefully and elegantly decorated. There is everything here you need for your comfort. The host even knew we were coming for the eclipse and left glasses and eclipse themed snacks. Oh, there were fresh flowers on the dining room table. All the dishes, appliances, linens and furniture were comfortable and stylish. We enjoyed sitting on the private deck. There is plenty of space to park off the street. The TV offered many channels and the wifi worked great. We felt safe in this home in this neighborhood. Communication with the host was outstanding. The home sincerely exceeded expectations. I highly recommend. We only wish we could have stayed more nights, as we really enjoyed our visit and were sad to check out.

Cute House in Painesville
House very clean, well-stocked and nicely decorated. Appreciate the responsiveness of the hostess and the ability to have our 2 dogs with us. Very close to Lake Erie College and downtown Painesville.

An Oasis
I rarely leave reviews but have to on this one. It’s amazing!! The attention to every detail is unmatched with any other we’ve rented. Women: there’s even a jar of new hair bands in the bathroom! There’s so many areas to sit, relax, read a good book, have a glass of wine. Highly recommend this rental!

This house was clean and was within walking distance to Lake Erie College and the Steele Mansion. It's right off Mentor Ave., which is the main drag of Painesville. Host was very responsive and had several suggestions for restaurants in the area.

We came to visit our son at LEC and this was the perfect location. Took me less than 5 minutes to walk to his dorm. House is very clean. We got to bring our dog. Fenced in backyard, which was great. We will certainly stay here again!

Outstanding home! So charming and located off Mentor avenue. A market and small convenience stores located within a half block walking distance. Everthing you could need is provided. Very good amount of space. Backyard is great for your four legged family member. So clean and beautifully decorated. Master bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent shower and spacious bathroom. We will definitely book again.

Absolutely Wonderful
If you are staying in the Mentor/Painesville area, this is the the place to stay. We were intown for my mother-in-law's 100th birthday! The house is just perfect. When you walk in you get that comfy feel immediately. Everything you can ask for is there. We even used the grill on the back patio. The beds are very comfortable. Communication with the host was fantastic, with quick response for our questions. Pepperli was very accommodating. We actually extended our one week stay for an additional week. It was easy working with her to do this. We will definitely use this property again when we return for the 101st birthday!

Family Reunion
Perfect place to stay during a trip to Painesville, Ohio for a family reunion. The house was charming and well maintained. It even smelled great! Kitchen was easy to use and was a lifesaver every morning. Laundry area allowed us to keep our clothes fresh and run a load of towels while we were there. Location was just minutes away from family, but also just a 30-minute drive into Cleveland. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Ohio.

PERFECT
This home is beautiful, clean and comfortable! We were able to bring the dog here and there are dog bowls , a tie out:, a fenced yard- VERY pet and kid friendly while also being a beautiful home. The beds are very comfortable. The owner responded right away when I contacted her and was sweet and helpful. I would have loved to have stayed longer and definitely reccomend this place!!!

What a charming getaway.
Plenty of room with three full bedrooms, front and back porches make this a very comfortable spot for friends or family. Spacious kitchen and separate living room make the house completely civilized. Charming location surrounded by many historic buildings. I hope we have a chance to return.
