“This property was exceptional. The grounds were stunning - there’s a reason this place is a tourist destination. We felt incredibly lucky to actually be staying here. The wonder and atmosphere of the thermal pools cannot be overstated. At night, in the warmth of the pool, if the mist isn’t too heavy, the star-gazing is fantastic. I traveled there with my 12-year-old daughter and the staff gave us an adult- and a petite, child-sized robe. She was thrilled! After a day of canyoning, coming back……

“As many reviews have stated, the hotel is dated and definitely beyond its prime. The location is nice and close to Angra, the breakfast buffet is okay, the pool is nice for families (not ideal for a couple or romantic getaway), and the views are great. The hotel needs upgrades and quite literally has a "if you need repairs, call this number" in the bathroom, yikes. Our room smelled of smoke everyday from the nextdoor neighbors and it radiated through the vents. The hallway and stairwell is……

“Accomodatie heeft een goede ligging, als je ook beschikt over een auto (is sowieso aan te raden). Is een afgesloten terrein, wat gevoel van veiligheid geeft. Het restaurant op het terrein werd verbouwd, dus er liepen wat werklui rond. We konden gebruik maken van zwembad, sauna, bubbelbad en dat ook aantal keren gedaan. Supermarkt is op loopafstand. Verder niet veel verwachten van het dorpje daar. Goede communicatie met eigenaar (engels) gehad.”
