We went outside by the firepit every day. They have a gas or fire pit location overlooking the lake. It was very beautiful. Front desk was very helpful with recommendations on places to eat, and shop. Clean rooms.

Driving past or pulling in the parking lot doesn’t begin to show the charm of this inn. Location is amazing, and the rooms are delightful - spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated! We were blown away by the beauty of this location and the inn - so happy we found it. Very walkable location to all of Bailey’s Harbor and of course easy access to all of Door County. Coffee was very good in the morning - there’s a continental breakfast, but we didn’t have any. But everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Coffee on the back deck watching the sunrise made the vacation - this is a beautiful spot!

Dated property but very nicely maintained. A bit chilly and windy, so no fire by the lake and no outdoor pool during the length of our stay. Simple breakfast with at least muffins, yogurt, coffee, OJ and apples. Water pressure and temperature were outstanding. Bed comfortable. Room size could have been a bit larger. A room darkening shade would have been nice; room was brighter at night than wanted. Flatscreen TV was excellent. Larger refrigerator with accommodating freezer was a welcome addition. Location was exceptional for everything Door County. Would happily stay at the Beachfront Inn again.

Claudia at front desk and other staff that were on the days we stayed at the Motel were outstanding! They accommodated our needs without hesitation and were very pleasant and professional. Gas fire in evening was very appreciated, having the option to sit at the bonfire by the water was a bonus! Areas to sit outside were perfect and we were able to enjoy the waves, and peace of the lake; THE BEST part of the stay. Had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed the pool, bikes and kayaks! (For sure will next time we visit). Also, we will be sure to reserve a room facing the beach. Location was perfect to enjoy the charm of Baileys Harbor by foot.

First of all, the location is great: right on the lake, and central to downtown Bailey’s Harbor and the marina. It has a great deck and outside sitting area for spending time looking at the lake. The room was comfortable and clean. Downside - the breakfast isn’t much and we experienced issues with the TV and lack of assistance with that. There was no information in the room about how to work the TV. After a visit to the office we were told they used Direct TV. Did not work. After another visit to the office we were told all the rooms except ours used Direct and our room used YouTubeTV. Still did not work. After a third visit to the office they called the owner and we were told they can not control how much Wi-Fi others used and the signal was not strong enough. Hmmm. We were there 3 nights. Seems like they need to do some work. My brother had a room there also - his TV worked fine.

Lovely refurbished motel on Lake Michigan in Baileys Harbor. Enjoyed the fire pit at night and location was convenient to restaurants and bars.
