“Stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend. It was an excellent time! The location is great, in a small development with a good paved road. It's five minutes or so to downtown Lansing and it's great spots and about 15 or so to downtown West Jefferson. Easy to get to from Raleigh and Charlotte, where our group was coming from. “We stayed here for my daughter's birthday weekend. Boone had a lot of snow and ice the week before, and neighbors helped my husband get up the road to the house. The VIEW was beautiful! The house is huge, and there was plenty of space for my daughters' friends, my sons' friends and my husband and I. It was a great location. “Gorgeous house. Beautiful views. Horses on the property that you can pet. Carport connected. Private “in law suite” with small kitchen and bathroom. All the amenities one might need. “This house was just perfect for my family (with young adult children) to meet up for a summer vacation. The house had everything we needed and was spotless! While there were plenty of things to do in the area, we also enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying the house, cooking meals, playing pool, making smores and enjoying the views and nature! It is an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock for dinner. Banner Elk is not far but the roads are a bit scarier at night.”
