“The perfect spot for a peaceful stay in the mountains above Boone, after dropping into town you return to a quiet space with Donner (miniature donkey) and Blitzen ( miniature draft horse) as company. Kathleen was a gracious host with a kind manner that perfectly fit the surroundings, felt like a home away from home. Will definitely return to this special spot.”

“Our mountain getaway was perfect! It was clean, so cute, unbeatable views and perfect for our family. We made such great memories and were able to unwind and relax as a family. We traveled with two small kids who loved the bunk room and can’t wait to go “camping” again! The host was so kind, sweet and helpful. They even gave our kids a little tour of their farm and allowed them to help feed the cows which was a huge hit. We can’t wait to return! ”

“Cabin was cozy and warm with the nice propane heater. Firepit and grill were great, creek was really nice. Wifi went out a couple times, shower was great, but a bit clunky to use.”

“Great and peaceful stay, only kssue we had was the hot tub not warming up and i did let the host know but we were already out. The host was very fast to reply and very helpful! ”

The location was convenient to attractions and restaurants in Blowing Rock and Boone. We enjoyed listening to the train horn from the Tweetsie Railroad, the natural setting, and watching the deer graze in the backyard.”
