“Will definitely stay here again when visiting Tweetsie. Everything was in good repair, the staff was super nice, the room was the perfect size for our family, pool and hot tub we're enjoyed and breakfast! You could tell everything was prepared with care and we had the best breakfasts to sustain us through our busy day. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. It seemed like the other guests were having the same great experience because everyone was in a great mood.”

“Old school hotel that has a great interior renovation, grew up staying in hotel like this so it’s nostalgic. If staying in back the lobby and food is a little walk but a good clean place to sleep.”

Super kind & pleasant employees were more than happy to give recs of nearby destinations and adventures... all were polite to answer so many of our questions…was neat learning the history of the Inn, too. Building and grounds were so clean and quaint! Rooms were spacious and comfortable… Felt like stepping back into a different time & place; so many great little corners to relax, read, enjoy coffee and/or a drink. So close to great trail heads and fun towns, but……

“We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. It was not a place for older people to stay with the narrow stairs and small shower. The cabin is quite near the busy road so lots of……

“Clean room. We stayed in a "cabin", which has 4 apartments in it. Older property. Could use updating. Very clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Grounds were lovely.”

“Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly……
