"Wonderful quite cottage! We slept like babies. The ferry at Tarbert was very handy. Only wish there would have been a microwave. The Carta in Balleylongford had everything we needed for groceries. Definitely would stay here again!"

The Devon Inn Hotel

"I was in room 36 on ground level, which was v useful. I think it would suit someone with mobility issues as sink low, walk in shower, alarm cord. Comfortable double bed. Clean room. Slight noise from corridor doors and car doors parked outside window. Rather ‘musty’ smell in room, but not damp feeling, and nothing to make me speak to Hotel team. Lots of hot water and lovely shower. Efficient and professional staff. Waiter and chef v helpful one night accommodating visiting guest requests. Breakfast varied and ample. Dinner very good. Handy for exploring but I was glad I had a car. Reasonable room prices for an early September stay. Overall,I was happy with my visit to the hotel."

The Tides B&B

The Tides B&B

10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic experience staying at the Tides B&B in Ballybunion. David and Noreen were so welcoming, kind, and helpful as we were planning our next couple days in the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Galway. Our room (#6) was spacious, had a walk in closet with two luggage racks (!) , sizable bathroom with a wonderful four-way shower and bath product. Our king bed was super comfy with luxurious comforter and pillows. We had a lovely sitting area to read books and a fancy coffee/tea making station and mini frig. The breakfast was incredibly generous with the continental breakfast alone offering at least five different cold cereals, cheese, three different pastries (chocolate croissant, plain croissant, cinnamon bun), Guinness banana bread, two kinds of bread for toast, assorted jams and butter, yogurt and fresh fruit salad, a delicious granola yogurt concoction, and several types of juice, coffee, ample tea selection. And I’m sure I’m missing some items! On top of all that you can add hot items - Irish breakfast, eggs and sausage and bacon and hash browns, two different kinds of crepes, and more. While we were not here to golf this time, clearly most folks are golfers. We wanted to be closer to the Tarbert Ferry to head north as we were coming from (a terrible hotel stay) in Dingle and the Tides was a welcome oasis for us. It was also lovely to not deal with difficult parking for the first time in Ireland! We hope our travels bring us back to Ballybunion and to visit"
