“Overall, this was a nice property. We had our own cabin, which helps to avoid noise from neighbors. However, the interior roads were gravel, which creates dust when people drive through. It was very hot the day that we stayed there, and the air conditioner could barely keep up. If you like to be cold, it would not have been enough. This appeared to be an older property that had been redone very nicely. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than I expected, and the refrigerator had a good……

“I don't understand why this place has such good ratings. Imo, only a person in the most dire of situations could think this is a suitable place to stay. It was filthy, it stunk, the towels were dirty and stained, the pool had algae or mold growing around the edges. The whole motel is run down and in disrepair. This place is rough! We're not fancy people. We just want a clean, safe place to stay. This definitely didn't qualify and the ratings are terribly misleading.”

“This was like a blast from the past! It was charming, very clean, sociable and a wonderful staff! It was so nice to actually see our neighbors and talk with them, so opposite modern hotels. We traveled with our dog and there was a beautiful walking trail just across the street. Everything about the establishment felt warm and welcoming. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.”
