The Shangri-La Toronto is truly exceptional. It is far superior to many of the larger hotel brands such as Hilton, Marriott, and Sheraton. The lobby is beautiful and elegant without ever feeling overcrowded or chaotic, and the architecture of the building is stunning.
The rooms are beautifully designed and finished, with particularly impressive bathrooms and an obvious attention to quality throughout. The gym is enormous, exceptionally well equipped, and among the best I’ve seen in a hotel. The staff is attentive, professional, and welcoming.
Overall, this is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in and a completely different experience from the typical large chain hotel. Highly recommended.
