“I arrived on the opening day of the season to find my cabin was ready for at 3pm just as promised . “Yes, advertised as rustic and definitely that, but there is rustic and there is "I just don't give a damn what it looks like or if it is taken care of." The door knob would fall out unless it was turned just so; unable to lock it. Curtains worn extremely thin so barely blocked out the sun, beam overhead held together with baling wire; no extra blanket; each side of cabin is slowly going into the ground? The center was high but both sides sloped down so things rolled on table and very hard to get……

“This is a functional hotel for a functional price (and there’s nothing wrong with that!). I was stuck in a snowstorm, not looking for a luxury vacation. The room was comfortable and I appreciated the microwave and fridge because i had food with me. The coffee was good but the rest of the breakfast was marginal. Like I said, it’s a functional place. The staff people were very nice. ”
