“The property is set on 26 acres on a “small” river (Big Thompson River) in Estes Park. The grounds are nice, and set up as a wedding (or event) venue. They have a good bit of frontage along the river, with benches interspersed. We stayed in “Shooting Star” in the main building’s second (top) floor. It was a very nice unit with a king bed, fireplace, sitting area (bookcases filled with books), shower and separate tub (and sink and toilet; toilet in the water closet with shower, sink outside that……

“The room was very clean and the suite came with more then enough towels and other amenities for our stay and the trails and river were also great to walk through and enjoy. If I return to estees I will go back to stonebrook. The short drive into town makes traversing estees easy while still being away from the majority of traffic”

“It was a rustic cabin setting by a river. We enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds in Estes Park. Our cabin was unexpectedly very close to the other cabins, however, all the guests respected the quiet. Messaging with the host was easy and quick. The kitchenette and bathroom were tiny, but sufficient for our needs. We liked the screened porch with the swing on it. There was a sufficient wifi & tv signal. Location was close to everything in Estes Park. Check in/out was super easy.”

“I can’t speak highly enough about this little gem of a place on the beautiful Fall River. Conveniently located near Rocky Mtn Ntl Park and Estes Park, Castle Mountain Lodge is the perfect stay. We rented a room, but hope to come back and rent a cabin with our whole family. The staff is delightful and helpful, and the entire place is beautiful, well kept, and we just can’t wait to return next summer!”

“We've come back to this lodge a couple of times and are never disappointed! The staff is incredible and the rooms are cozy/well kept. We booked the Ponderosa room and it felt basically like a little private studio. The hot tub was really nice after a long day out exploring Estes. Will be returning!”

“Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is only 2 miles from the east entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, making it very convenient. The rooms are also very clean.”

“We loved our stay, we just did not plan well enough over the weekend for extra washcloths and coffee. Staff is not available after 5pm, our mistake tho, as we were gone all dsy every day.”

“Cottage was very clean. No AC which wasn't a big deal for this stay, but could be. Overall not bad.”

“The staff was lovely and kind. The main pool and our hot tub were both really well maintained and clean. The carpet in the cabin had really large stains which were very unsightly. There was a great deal of dust on the furniture and ledges. The most disappointing aspect was that the wifi was down for most of our stay and I needed to work over the week. This made my work a challenge. Overall though it was a lovely vacation and we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone is so friendly.”

“This is a cute little get away. The kitchen is not practical to cook in other than warming up leftovers but way better stocked than a hotel room. The bathroom is tiny but very modern with a steam shower. It was in the 80’s in the afternoons when we stayed and the a/c unit had a difficult time keeping the room cooled. I mentioned it to the staff when we checked out and they said they’d have their maintenance guy figure out what was going on. There is a natural spring very close and they provide a……

“Property is quite old. TV didn't work, but was promptly fixed. Had only shampoo and conditioner, no bath soap. Had to call to get it fixed.”
