“Property was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area. Porta potty closest to our dome was not remotely clean at all, but the one 20 feet away from it was so it was no big deal. The first night was great, (other than getting bitten up) and then we woke up and made breakfast and left for our hike. When we got back to the dome, i attempted to make dinner and realized the area surrounding our food bags was being infested with ants that were getting through the cracks where the wall met the floor.……

“Absolutely loved the Ten Bits. The location is very off the beaten path, and rain caused us a bit of a challenge getting in on day one, but our host was very understanding, helped us find a different place to stay for the night, and refunded us for one night no questions asked. After that we got to the Bank and spent the next 3 nights enjoying the area and the ranch. I highly recommend the property and plan to stay again in the future!”

“The location was amazing! Awesome for star viewing. We were in cabin #8 so that spot was even better to sit and view. The only thing that happened was we had left to go to dinner, came back and someone had actually driven there truck and parked it right next to our window on the side and had already made a fire in the pit that was next to our porch. He offered to move over once we were there but he already had a fire going so we said it’s ok. For one there was no way to drive back there unless……

“The container was even better than expected! It was clean, looked nice and it had all of the small conveniences needed. I was nicely surprised by the abundance of towels and pillows. Things that are often lacking in vacation rentals. There was also a lovely gameroom that made me want to come back with extended family. The container room was located in Terlingua minutes from Big Bend National Park and close to many outfitters. We used Far Flung Outfitters to canoe on the Rio Grande. We decided……

“Host was super helpful before we even arrived and answered my questions very quickly. The A-frame was gorgeous and clean. We stayed there with our kids and they slept well on the pull-out sofa. They had an absolute blast at the Arcade on site. The entire property had wonderful views and was nicely landscaped. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Quiet. Peaceful. Wonderful open spaces and so many stars! Communication with host was great, check-in was easy. Main cantina has shared refrigerators and space to put your groceries as well as a small fridge and microwave in the room. Bring water as the tap is non-potable. Off grid living at its finest!!! Will be back!”

“The place was very clean, and as listed had pretty complete kitchen which we enjoyed. Bedrooms are a bit tight but we managed. Experienced record heat but ac worked great! Good location for visit to Big Bend. We should’ve stayed 2 nights. ”

“My husband and I spent the weekend in Big Bend celebrating his 34th birthday. The VRBO we booked was so cute and amazing. Fantastic location close to restaurants and shops and the park itself. 10/10 recommend staying here. We had a great time!”
