“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b……

“This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy……

Opted to book a Delux twin accessible room. The room was across the courtyard from the main pub building. At first sight the room appeared adequate although not particularly appealing. “Super stay at Wenns and an ideal location with stunning views of the Minster. The Deluxe Apartments were wonderful and everything you needed. In one of the rooms (Wenns) the jacuzzi was not working but part from that it was first class. We must thank Rob for looking after us giving us detailed information of the surrounding area. He also had good knowledge of the Sandringham Flower Show where we were visiting the following day and gave us directions to the shuttle bus collection point. ……
