“Lovely 3 night stay. Rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We booked two rooms and were assigned one in the courtyard and one in the main building. Bathroom in the courtyard room was significant bigger but otherwise rooms were comparable. Great location. Definitely recommend booking with breakfast included. “Highly recommend. Gorgeous restaurant and rooms with a beautiful courtyard garden. Perfect for us with two children who were in same building but floor above via internal staircase. Car park just round the corner had to pay separately for but plenty spaces. Bed was fine but could have been more comfortable and slippers would be good but appreciated the robes. “Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b……

Firstly the lady who checked us in and gave us information about the pub was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We managed to get into our room slightly ahead of the 3pm check in which was great as we could unpack and settle before heading off for a wander.
We booked a standard double. The positive was it had a king size bed, however the rest of the room was lets say 'bijou'. We were unable to fully open the wardrobe door and had to shimmy round the end of……
