About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Beautiful refurbished log cabin nestled in the heart of Snowdonia.

Refurbished and modernised two bedroom log cabin situated in Trawsfynydd Leisure village, a lovely tranquil retreat in the heart of Snowdonia.
The property consists of two bedrooms (one double bedroom, a bunk bedroom, an equipped and modern kitchen, a modern bathroom including an electric shower and heated towel rail and open plan living room and dining area with seating for 5 people . There is a sofa bed situated in the living room as well an integrated 40 inch TV/ DVD with access to a full range of Freesat tv channels. There is also a good stock of DVDs for those rainy days.

The living area opens out to a decking area with seating overlooking a stream. This is the ideal place to relax in the evening. There is a sizable private garden with private parking space for one cars (there are other parking options around the village).

The property is located near to a park containing swings and other wooden play equipment, a small football pitch and baseball net.

The is an enclosed dog park where dogs can be exercised - dogs must be kept on a lead elsewhere around the village.

The cabin is double glazed and there are heaters in each room.

Free wifi can be obtained in the cabin but reception can vary but generally enables Smart functions on the TV eg BBC iPlayer.

The is a small shop on site - open 9am to 5pm and stocks a limited range of goods. There is a laundry situated next door to the shop, and is open 24 hours daily.

The cabin is ideally situated to explore Snowdonia, it is two miles from Coed Y Brenin Forest Visitor Centre, with great mountain biking trails, children's play areas and walking routes. There are stunning waterfalls close by. There are several interesting and historic towns all within a 15 to 30 minutes drive: including Dolgellau (the gateway to the mighty Caidir Idris), the beautiful golden sandy beaches at Bartmouth and Porthmadoc (Black Rock sands), the historic castle at Harlech, and the wonder that is the 'Italian' Village at Porthmerion, forever associated with the 1960's/70's cult classic TV series 'the Prisoner'.

Lovely break
Lovely break for 3 days. Lodge was very clean and well stocked with all essential items. Host was present for check in and was available for any queries. The only minor complaint would be that the bunk bed was not too comfortable but other than that a really enjoyable stay.

A compact, tidy cabin
Our family stayed in this cabin for a long weekend. For. Family of 6, it was a tight squeeze, but there were beds for everyone. The cabin would be best for 2-4, but 6 do fit. The location was fantastic and the views amazing. The cabin was a great home base for exploring and hiking and we enjoyed our stay very much. You are required to bring your own towels, but everything thing else was provided. The cabin is right next to the green space/playground which was excellent for our children.

Family holiday
The property was lovely and the site its self was brilliant. We had a fabulous holiday. There was some issues when we got there and we weren't able to get into the property at time advertised. Some issues with the cleanliness when we got there, needed sweeping. Otherwise the property was as advertised. Brilliant communication with the owner.

A highly recommended staycation!
This is a lovely & quiet park, plenty of beauty spots are within 30min drive- Harlech castle, Barmouth, Black Rock Sands Beach. Waterfall walks are also close by. We are a family of 6. The cabin was great with good facilities & plenty of space inside & outside. There is a play area close by which the children loved (ours are aged between 9-14yrs). It was easy to check in & the property host Tim was also very helpful. Would highly recommend.

lovely week's stay
A thoroughly enjoyable stay, and a great base to visit many locations. Site itself lovely, and everything we needed in the property. Owner answered our queries promptly. However, we did feel that the standard of cleaning needs to be addressed, considering the additional cleaning charge that was added...we appreciate that it's a pet friendly property, but the day we arrived we did have to hoover around as there was a lot of dust/hair/cobwebs and the bathroom, notably toilet wasn't very clean. A shame as everything else was spot on, and the owner definitely deserves recognition for this. Thanks Tim!
