About this property
Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin w/ Hot Tub, Firepit, Game Room & Scenic Views
What we love about The Owl’s Nest Cabin
What we love most about The Owl’s Nest Cabin is the feeling you get when you look out at the view. It feels peaceful, cozy, and tucked away — the kind of place where mornings start slower and everyone can breathe a little easier.
The sun rises behind the cabin, so the morning sky is often the most colorful time of day. In the evening, the view from the private hot tub feels softer and quieter, and once night settles in, the stars make the whole place feel still and special.
What guests love
Guests love that this cabin gives you a little bit of everything: space to relax, fun for the kids, and cozy spots to reconnect.
The private hot tub sits behind the cabin on the patio, with mountain views and privacy. The game room has air hockey, foosball, puzzles, board games, coloring books, and crayons, so families have easy ways to enjoy time together without having to leave the cabin.
Inside, you’ll find 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and a queen sleeper sofa, with room for up to 8 guests. There’s also a gas fireplace available October through March, a coffee bar, high-speed Wi-Fi, a workspace, books, a Bluetooth sound system, and thoughtful welcome touches like a snack and s’mores kit.
Outside, enjoy the gas grill on the deck, picnic table, wood-burning fire pit, wooded privacy, and mountain views.
The cabin is about 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, so you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, hiking, wineries, and local adventures while still coming back to a peaceful mountain setting.
The road is mostly gravel, but it is doable in a standard sedan.
The Owl’s Nest Cabin is a good fit for family trips, couples’ getaways, birthdays, small group weekends, and quiet mountain escapes.
It is cozy, comfortable, and designed for the kind of stay that feels easy from the moment you arrive.

We had a wonderful weekend away just the wife and I, and this is certainly the place for peace and quiet! Gorgeous views, no detail left undone…from the fire pit, hot tub, coffee bar, s’more basket…everything was prepared and ready! Perfectly situated to enjoy the amenities of local entertainment and meals, and just far enough away to escape the sense of everyday chaos. Very grateful for the ease of communication and check in/out. We are already scheduling dates for our next trip!
We had an amazing time. The cabin and property are beautiful! The view is amazing! We loved all the cute little personal touches such as s’mores for the fire pit, fishing poles, and lots of games. They provided everything we needed such as shampoos, soaps, and laundry detergent. My husband is an avid coffee drinker and loved the coffee bar. The owner is very responsive and helpful. There is a book with many suggestions on things to do in the area. The cabin is secluded enough, but still a close drive to town. We plan on coming back next year!
This cabin was just perfect for our 28th anniversary getaway! We were greeted with a cute congratulations banner and a chilled bottle of wine, with choclates! And a smores kit!The house was stocked with every possible item you might need! The one item we didn't expect were beach towels to use for the hottub! Also, laundry pods were provided in case a load of laundry needed to be done! The views are incredible! The cabin is about 20 minutes up a mountain. (May want to have front wheel/4 wheel drive in questionable weather) We ate lunch on the covered deck, read on the swing, and watched the leaves change colors and fall throughout our week! Incredibly peaceful. We used the hotub after hiking, and sat around the firepit with all the cute lighting. (Bring matches!) There is also game tables and board games stocked for everyone. The house was exceptionally clean and so well decorated. Linens were plenty.I would 100% recommend this property to smaller familes or for a girlfriend weekend.

Over all really not bad….just no lighter for fire, lot of pollen outdoors…was not swiped….much smaller place then pictures showed. Arcade was not working …still coming…trash outside was not picked up…but raccoon did take it. Great view…beautiful storm.. third day. Saw dear with baby…hawk getting snake for lunch…rabbits. We will be back.
This is a great cabin. Very clean, comfortable beds, game room. We really enjoyed the coffee bar and the water, snacks, and coffee supplies were a nice touch. The string lights in the hot tub area made the space even more enjoyable!
