Shade Tree Lodge-Pet Friendly- Minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge

  • Shade Tree Lodge is the pet friendly mountain oasis you have been searching for! Enter through the foyer into a spacious great room with a beautiful floor-to-ceiling gas-log stone fireplace. Cozy setting that includes an open island bar and dining room table for six. There are four bedrooms; three with king-size beds and one with queen. On the lower level, you'll find another stone gas-log fireplace, large TV and pool table with plenty of room (3,400 sq. feet) to unwind and have fun. Whether relaxing in our large hot tub while enjoying this serene mountain setting, reading by the fireplace or roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, we know you'll enjoy your time at Shade Tree Lodge.
    The cabin is also near boating on Blue Ridge Lake, trout fishing on the Toccoa River or zip-lining, tubing, or rafting on one of the nearby lakes and rivers!
    No provision for charging EV vehicles.
    Fiber optics for improved electronic/tv communications.
    Guest reserving cabin must accompany guests occupying the cabin for specified dates.

We loved our stay here. Location was great and cabin was spacious and beautiful. Hot tub and pool table were favorites for our family. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful home and property! The beds were super comfortable and the house was huge! Just wish we had more time to enjoy the pool table and hot tub!

We loved the comfort of the house and the various spaces to cuddle up in to read and relax. Was great for a December stay and look forward to staying again when we can enjoy the outdoor spaces as well.

Terry and Lolita were wonderful hosts. Communication was prompt and the cabin was lovely and spacious. They came immediately to attend to a small matter and checked another time to see if we needed anything. The decks with rocking chairs were a favorite spot. We even got in a little s’more making time at the convenient fire pit.

Great location. Beautiful cabin. Can’t really say there was a Mountain View, though. Teens loved the pool table. Seating wasn’t sufficient for everyone to gather in one space and the couches were quite uncomfortable. Cleanliness could be better (dust on fans, mold in shower, etc) Otherwise well equipped and a nice stay.

Beautiful place

The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. We highly recommend a stay there we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the owner was very helpful.

This was our first trip to the Blue Ridge area and we couldn’t have hoped for anything more! The house was as advertised and we were extremely pleased!

Amazing cabin. Every room was fantastic. The decks and balconies were fantastic. There was ample room and so many amenities. Plus it was very close to all the activities we enjoy in the area. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a lovely time at this property. It was a perfect fit for our family. The property was clean and the hosts were very responsive when we had a question. It was very well stocked in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Welcoming and Comfortable

Home away from home atmosphere. The 3 levels of accommodations gave us space to hang out together, then have our own little retreats.

Perfect

Our yearly girls trip was spent here and it was just perfect. So spacious and clean. The fireplaces were the best of any cabin we have stayed at and we have been doing this for 25 years. Everything we needed and more.

I had planned a family get together for my wife’s recent retirement. Everything went as planned. There was plenty of room for the kids. The pool table was a hit with me and the kids and the hot tub was a hit with me and the wife after the kids left. This event had been planned for quite some time, but the cabin was better than I had imagined while planning. The owners were easy to communicate with which made this all the better. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for that get away to the Blue Ridge, Georgia area and needing 4 bedrooms. Hope to travel back one day!
