When locked out of our room we were unable to reach any staff and were the only people in the entire lodge, resulting in calling emergency services due to safety issues for my girlfriend who needed her inhaler that was in the room. Amenities included complimentary breakfast, as well as a fridge and coffee maker in the room and we did not receive either. When brought up to management, we were told that we were "not required a fridge and were the only ones in the lodge so we did not get breakfast". Was told that we were not out for breakfast by 7:30 so it was not put out when we were told prior that breakfast is from 6:30-11 and we were not informed we needed to be out of our room by a certain time. The manager was very rude and did not once apologize for his lack of manners or for the lack of service. We were never able to reach staff even when there was a number left for us to call in case we needed them. Unfortunately service was terrible. Our heater rattled bad the first night was hard to sleep. When we returned from being out for the day the heater had rattled the front and top off. When I called the emergency line, the man told me it was fine and to just leave it. I explained that we could not sleep with the noise it was making. He then got angry and said he’d be down to the room. When he showed up he was not pleasant at all. He just threw the front back on and left the grate off. He told me someone else had already broke it and showed me where the screws were missing. I told him if he got some tape I’d help him fix it for the night. He said he couldn’t get tape, the maintenance closet was locked and he did not have the key. We were not able to use the heater all night and it was 36 degrees out. He was not doing anything else for us. He left, it was not full, we were not offered another room and he was the owner of the establishment we were told. We were given a room that knowingly had a broken heater. The baseboards and floor corners obviously weren’t cleaned nor the trim ledges dusted. Because it was dirty, it made me wonder if the sheets and pillowcases were actually laundered. That doesn’t feel good.
