"Apartment was spotless and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen facilities were good, but we didn't need to use much. There were a few bars & restaurants very close to the apartment. I did not see a supermarket (but did not venture far!) The roads around Reading town centre were a bit confusing and our sat nav wanted to avoid roads that were only for buses and black cabs but you need to drive through that zone to get to the apartments. If you are driving, please read all the info provided with the confirmation. It includes info that the hosts need to arrange a permit for you at least 24 hours in advance if you are arriving or leaving outside of certain hours. When we checked in, the host was aware of all the details I had provided and it went smoothly. The only improvement would have been if I could have received email confirmation they had made the permit arrangements etc. There is a phone number to call if you arrive and no one is at the reception desk. The check in and out was smooth. The hosts were friendly and efficient. Could not fault the apartment and facilities. "

"While the hotel is older, the rooms are spacious, the people are so helpful with bringing bags early, nice check-in etc. the restaurant is great and breakfast is free. Very nice all round! "

"We had a very pleasant stay, highly recommend, great location, spotlessly clean, loved the special little touches, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereal and even milk and cold water in the fridge. The kitchen was well equipped, extremely impressed, cooked meals and had everything I needed. Communication was excellent and easily navigated entry and pre-booked parking space which was safe and secure. Security gentleman was on site at various points but to be honest felt very safe throughout our stay. On a very busy road as our stay was in October we had the windows closed, but can imagine could be noisy and hot in the summer months. WiFI was good and smart TV was much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this accommodation in the future. "
