“We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus!
Check in / check out was swift and efficient.
Just a couple of minus points:-

“The room was immaculate and loved the breakfast basket, great little touch, great big shower too, can't fault the room at all, staff were very friendly and helpful. Ant plenty of parking, will deffinately stay there again”

“I was unfortunately in an incredibly warm room (in part due to weather, but also the orientation which meant it got the full evening sun and no breeze) - this was room 104.
The room was a decent size and reasonably clean, but given the weather, which is it being made up with a duvet and no sheet underneath (between that and the bed).
The bathroom had cracked floor tiles which were very uneven with sharp edges and there was toothpaste marks splashed all over the wall by the sink, which means……

“Upon arrival there was a queue to check in with no staff at reception. After a short wait I went to find someone. Was told by the bar staff member he would come once he had served at bar.
Shower didn't work in room so had to be moved to another. There was running water in this room however more of a drizzle out the shower so impossible to use.
Toilet roll holder broken.
Very run down and needs a lot of money spending on it.
Breakfast in morning wasn't the best either. Me and my husband left……

“Handy car park. Lovely staff. Great food . Room comfy, thankful of fan.
Room had usual tea, coffee plus water and biscuits.
I’d go here again as very handy for the Sabrina boat trip and walk into town.”
