Play off weekend

My nephew a few friends and I travel to the Poconos for a getaway and to watch the football playoffs. The house was perfect! Located in a beautiful neighborhood, skiing on site, safe and peaceful. The house is spacious.and comfortable. Livable. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. House was clean. The beds were comfortable. Close to tubing and skiing. Great place for a family. The house was great large enough for our family to have space to spread out. The host Phil was very responsive, when questions arised. House was clean and the amenities were great. One exception was the deck furniture was not cleaned, my husband cleaned off the deck and out side eating area from downed leaves and minor tree debris. Other than that we had a wonderful time. We would rent this property again.

This house is amazing

Our family decided to stay at this property over Christmas break. We needed to get away and relax. We were not able to enjoy the amenities of the property but that was because of course the kids were sick, however, upon arrival the owner walked us through the entire property in and out on the phone. When we walked into the kitchen we were treated with some snacks, a beautiful cake and fruit. Let me tell you this house is beautiful, it is well maintained and exceeded our expectations. Each room has its own thermostat so that was great as our family can never agree on temperature. The living room with the fire place was our favorite place to hang out. The owner even left us items to make our own s’mores which we did. Every room is equipped with a large TV and already set up to watch Netflix, Disney, YouTube, etc. This was by far my favorite place that I have ever stayed in at the Poconos. 10 out of 10 and I can’t wait to plan a spring summer trip to enjoy the outdoors more. The owners were the best owners I have ever felt with.

2 family getaway

My family and my brother's family rented this house for a week. It was 4 teens ages 14-19 and 4 adults. We stayed at the beginning of August when temps were in the 80s with high humidity and a lot of rain. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our party. The hosts were reachable and responsive. We had an initial glitch the first night when we realized that there was AC only in the master bedroom, living room and dining room. The other 2 bedrooms only had ceiling fans and the occupants couldn't figure out how to leave the fan on but turn the lights off. Once we figured that out it was fine. There is also a dehumidifyer in the basement that we emptied regularly that significantly helped keep the downstairs cool too. It rained every day except one, so there was a lot of pool playing and board games, and one night of a fire in the firepit. The location was perfect for a hike at Dingman's ferry, a kayak trip down the delaware, and a movie. The house was well appointed, the facilities in the community nice, scenery beautiful and hosts responsive. All in all I would highly recommend and would rent here again.

Phil, our host was wonderful. Incredibly nice and easy to get in-touch with morning or night. I would recommend renting from him. The house was also super clean and not short on space for people to gather or sleep. Kitchen was reasonably stocked. Provided firewood and fire pit was a nice touch as well. All in all, lovely stay.
