“Great stay for our bi-annual friends reunion! This place had everything - the lake was well-equipped with kayaks, mini kayaks for the kids, pedal boat, etc. With comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone, and enough plates bowls cups and a big table to gather around. Grill, seating areas for reading or morning coffees, fire pit, hot tub. And of course the sauna! Everything worked great and was so comfortable for our stay. Great communication from our host - absolutely would recommend!!”

“Lovely location, lovely cabin, everything as described. Cabin is a little hard to spot dark (the first time going) but thats a very minor complaint on a lovely rental. ”

“This cabin had everything you could need in it. And for the outside , everything also from walking sticks to a cooler to a clean grill and a rocking swing...my favorite.When we would come home at night they would have luminous candles by the fire pit and table.Tammy has all the extra touches in this very clean cabin!”

“We just came back from our weekend at the Woodpecker House what a wonderful home! It's beautiful - just like the pictures show. We enjoyed our weekend - the fire pit, hot tub, cool basement and surrounding areas. The kitchen & dining area were very nice - we used it the entire weekend. “The cabin was secluded and quiet, lovely location, and a beautiful sunroom. We were two adults and a baby, and a cat. It was clean and well stocked with linens and utensils. Our baby did well as it was kid friendly. Small but compact and everything was in good working order. WiFi was good. It was close to Mine Kill State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing we would suggest is removing the trophy animals (three deer heads and a turkey). Not everyone is comfortable with such...

“What an amazing stay!!!The back deck and yard is a complete oasis. We loved the pool and spent a lot of time outside. This place is fully stocked inside and out. We all thought it flew by too fast so we definitely recommend a longer stay than just the weekend. We might make this a yearly trip :) ”
