“The large and pretty Victorian house was in convenient walking distance to restaurants, shops, and town. We had a beautiful view of the harbor marina! Love waking up to that view and having breakfast looking at the people taking morning walks. The hosts Steve and his wife, Shawn, were so dear. They welcomed us with a tour and cookies! Always sweets wherever we turned so we really loved that! Shawn is an excellent baker...I blame her for my weight gain lol. Everything was clean, comfortable, ……

“Beautiful resort, outdated but clean. We went on the weekend before ownership changed so the menu was limited and the breakfast was undercooked but the server was AWESOME! He remembered us and catered to us like we were the only customers.”

“We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2……

“We extremely enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, kitchen was well equipped and the view was spectacular, especially with the Eagles that have nested on the 32 acre property. However was disappointed in the fact that the fire places were not in working conditions and rooms should have been number. We enjoy kayaking up and down the bay and taking it all in. I would definitely stay again.”

“Great place to recharge for a few days as a family! Beautiful and peaceful in the fall — though my kids are ready to come back and use the pool in warmer weather!!!”

“We have enjoyed our stay at the property, everything was very nice and spacious away from everything, just the way we wanted. Our only issue was the landscaping work being done for 2 days of our stay, my son has allergies on cut grass and he ended up staying indoor for the most of those days.”
