"The air con was amazing in the current heat. The space inside was great. The location was pretty good. The whole area and especially the room smelt a bit like sewage. The electric gate was noisy and disturbing. The note to clean dishes or get fined was unnecessarily aggressive. Not sure why they have to take £50 deposit. No other hotel we stayed in did."

The twin beds pushed into a double made for a quite uncomfortable sleep. But the location is good, staff very nice, and well maintained."

"Wonderful place to stay while getting oriented to the city. Everyone was very nice and helpful, and our family of four felt comfortable and at home. Location is perfect—train station and restaurants right nearby; easy walk to city center—and the hostel itself has plenty of pleasant spaces to land Definitely a lot of stairs (on the steep/short tread depth side), which caught us off-guard with heavy luggage, but we managed and it was definitely worth it. Accessibility issues could be challenging at other times."

Next time we come to Maastricht we will definitely book this hotel again. Can’t say enough good things about the staff the amenities and the location."
