  • This Stylized Captain's House is located minutes away from family friendly scenic Kealakekua Bay beaches, the national park Pu'uhonua O Honaunau, & the island's best snorkeling spot "Two Step".

    An ideal setting for tropical adventures of all kind, offering spacious layouts to enjoy a true Island life.

    The house newly renovated & styled with lots of vintage items and local art . Family friendly, breezy, laid back.

    The space
    The Captain's House in a very authentic, historic residential area. It's a three bedroom house with a yard that you get t enjoy all by yourself. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace ar a lanai as we call it in Hawaii and a spacious living room.

    Plenty of parking space.

    Not a party place - quiet time at 9 pm.

    Guest access
    You are welcome to use the whole house and the yard surrounding it. We kindly ask you not to use the things stored in the sheds behind the house. Our home is the house next door, so you can always reach out if you need any assistance.

My family and I loved staying here! It was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Our hosts responded promptly to a water leak we discovered at check-in and the rest of the stay was easy sailing. I loved listening to the frogs at night and the chickens in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!
