The room decor is very unique and full of history. The back yard is full of surprises with nature and even a forest movement studio! Stuff are very friendly and easy to talk to. The owner herself is nice to chat with. Breakfast is included and delicious and healthy! We love this place!!

This was our second visit to this beautiful vacation home and we loved it just as much as our first! The house accommodates 10 people, you do have some stairs and the wrap around deck is where we spent all our time. At the Big Island everywhere is a drive to get to, so plan accordingly. The location is impressive. It’s clear that you are right on the water but until you’re actually there you can’t appreciate how great this location really is. Hike, kayak or take a boat cruise to the monument celebrating the life of the famous British explorer.

Captain Cook is great. Go to Rob's Cafe and Bakery.
There are some activities that can be done without spending a lot of money
the area is very low key, no major stores, chain restaurants. lots of local restaurants, farmers where you can buy local fruits/vegs & coffee. I love the area.
Bay view farm coffee on painted church road was excellent.
We ate breakfast at The Coffee Shack twice. Is a very special place, amazing view, good food and service.
