NEWLY RENOVATED: Ocean View with a walk across the street to public beach access

NEWLY RENOVATED. Winter Month Discounts Please send message. Condo has an ocean view and walk just across the street to the beach. It is a very comfortable second story unit with one private bedroom and a second bedroom off the master bedroom with a double bunk on the bottom and a twin top. It also has 1 1/2 bathrooms. The kitchen has an island and dining set that sits 6. The living room is open to the kitchen with 1 pull out queen sofa and a second regular sofa. There is a washer and dryer and the condo association has a lovely very clean pool. Across the street is the Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar and Pier, and within walking distance is Uncle Vinny’s Restaurant, The Spot, Veggie Wagon, Pop's Homemade Ice Cream and snack stand, A&G BBQ and Chicken, and Granny's Country Kitchen. The boardwalk is a little over a mile away with lots of things to do.

This location was perfect for our stay! Short drive into downtown Wilmington and plenty of places to walk to. The easy, short walk across the street made this simplistic for our children! Plenty of supplies throughout the place. We enjoyed our stay and will remember this place for future trips to the beach!!

I do not recommend this property
My daughter goes to school at UNCW, so we have been looking for a good place we can stay each time we visit her. This is not the place. We arrived very late at night (1am) with the weather due to the hurricane just beginning to turn bad. We walked in and the house was filthy. Beds were unmade, bathrooms were disgusting, the kitchen was a mess with dirty dishes in the sink. Not a clean linen to be found and when I tried to wash towels I found mens dirty underwear in the laundry room. We had no choice but to sleep there since it was so late. The next morning during the hurricane the owner tried to make it right by putting us up for the day in another condo while ours was being cleaned. I just wanted my money back and after he agreed to a refund, we took him up on his offer. He has yet to refund me. I only want the one night refunded since we arrived so late and due to the state of the rental. Nothing!! It’s a cute place with a good location, but not reliable. Looking back at reviews, this is not the first time either.

Great location! Decorated nicely. It did need a deep cleaning. Dusty and baseboards were nasty. Kitchen cabinets needed to be organized. It was a cozy place to stay. Just wish it was cleaner since we paid $1400 to stay for 5 nights.

Great location, great place!
Easy as pie booking and quick communication with hosts when needed. Perfect location with great beach access and near a favorite restaurant of ours (Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar). Unit was very clean and beachy style decor with fabulous sofas! Perhaps the only thing that could use a spruce up is the mattress in the master. It’s super saggy and you roll to the center whether you like it or not). We didn’t realize that both restrooms are accessed through the bunk bed bedroom as well so if you have wee ones just know you have to walk through their room to get to either bathroom. (They could have been our miss I just didn’t notice that in the pics I guess). Main staircase into unit was in process of repair when we arrived. Heads up a few of the screws used are still sticking up a bit and the kick plates/back plates on the stairs not yet installed. We absolutely would stay here again and appreciated the ease of this booking despite the few things that could be improved. Thank you.

Great Stay!
All communication with the owners was prompt and friendly. The condo was perfect for our family. It's bright and well decorated. (The boys loved the bunk beds!) Though we didn't do any real cooking, the kitchen is well equipped. Easy access to the beach directly across the street. I would definitely recommend this condo for a family vacation. Thank you Donna and Jake for sharing your home with our family. I'd love to stay again!

Cute with attitude
I wanted to rate this one five stars because it’s cute and has a great location but lack of concern from the owners and the attitude from the property manager (neither were local) made me sing a different tune. If it weren’t for that, I’d stay again but there’s no way I can support these people again.

Donna has put together a great little beach apartment that is directly across the street from a public beach access. You can see the water from the living room. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room for 2.

Great Place to Stay
This is a very nice condo and has everything you'd possibly need. Just bring your personal items and some food and you're all set. It's just steps from the public beach access and close to about everything you'd need. Carolina Beach has never disappointed us. My Wife and I had a great time.

Family getaway
Great condo and location! Loved the barn doors and cute decor, close beach access and ocean view. We also enjoyed the community pool which was pretty empty the majority of our stay. Liked having a full private deck to watch the sunrise and drink my coffee on. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great Location!
The perfect spot for a family visit to Carolina Beach. The condo is nicely updated and clean with great amenities. It’s directly across the street from the beach access. Would definitely stay here again. The only drawback if you have small children is there is not a bathtub, just a shower. But there was a handheld shower head that helped make it easier to bathe our toddler.

Beautiful, functional and spacious
The owner was amazing she responded quickly and was very helpful with suggestions on places to eat and things to do. The home was very clean and well stocked as far as everything needed for family dinner. I personally LOVE teal and pink so I was in awe of the decor! Very spacious! There was an extra room so my husband and I were separated from the kids but they weren’t on a pull out couch. Loved that separation! Location was perfect very close for shopping, the beach, social life and stuff for the kids. I would recommend and I would def stay again!
