I don't even know how they spotted this owl. It was on the far side of the river, way up at the top of a tall tree, in dark shadow. Digital photography is truly a wonderful thing.

"We purchased a day pass to enjoy the beautiful hot springs at Rio Perlas Thermal Resort & Spa, and it was absolutely worth it! The pools were relaxing and well-maintained, and we also went on a scenic hike that made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was visiting the farm and getting to pet the animals—it added such a fun, unique touch.
