"We had a wonderful stay on our last night in Portugal at the Memmo Alfama hotel. Upon arrival the front desk were friendly and extremely helpful wanting to make our stay special and succeeded!! They provided recommendation of things to do in the area and offered restaurants in the area including making reservations. They also offered to set up airport ride for next day departure. Since we had to leave before breakfast opened they provided a very nice breakfast box to go which we enjoyed at the airport. We enjoyed the rooftop bar for a beautiful sunset. The bar staff were friendly and inviting and the appetizers we had we tasty. Our room and the facility were very clean and well provided for your travel needs. The bed and pillows were comfortable for a good nights sleep. The hotel is in a great location with lots of walkable food, shopping and other attractions within walkable distance. Unfortunately we had a short stay and would have loved to enjoy this hotel longer. We will highly recommend to others and hope to return in the future."

"We enjoyed our stay, Nice quiet place. Enjoyed the layout of our townhouse room. Can walk to a few restaurants and shops out with hotel. Just lacked staff attention to detail for this rate/standard of hotel. I would expect better service. You would ask the staff a question about restaurant/spa/activities etc and you would get a one worded answer and the impression of don’t ask me anymore questions. It always seemed to be so difficult to get help/assistance on the smallest of things. The room had a few faulty issues: toilet leaked, dishwasher kept falling forward, bedside wobbly, bed creaked. It’s just not the standard I would expect for this class of hotel. We enjoyed our stay as we were on our baby moon and also celebrating a birthday so we made it special ourselves. But there is definitely room for improvements at this hotel."

"The villa was excellent, with many different amenities, and plenty of rooms. Paulo was very responsive to all our queries and was always happy to help assist.The bar area was great with the beer keg. We'd also highly recommend Rita (can be booked via Paulo) who helped sort out the itinerary for our trip, from transport to activities to dinner at the villa."

The pool and bar area on the 5th floor are lovely. 30 minutes taxi to the Lisbon airport and around 45 minutes to the city centre. Alcochete was a quiet areas but has a few nice restaurants and looks across the river to the city."
