“We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful cottage. It is part of an ancient castello, as a separate little house (the old mill) and with all modern amenities, lovingly restored. The views from the beautiful garden are absolutely stunning, and we much enjoyed our breakfasts in the sunshine outside. Thanks for a great holiday in this stunning cottage — we can only warmly recommend it!”

“Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war nett und unkompliziert. Allerdings wurde vergessen uns vor Anreise mitzuteilen, dass ein Bad der Villa gar nicht benutzt werden kann! Zudem war das Haus bei unserer Anreise nicht geputzt. Was unser Urlaubserlebnis in Summe doch sehr getrübt hat. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und nicht nur die Betten haben die besten Jahre hinter sich. Wir waren zu dritt, haben uns aber gefragt, wie man als Gruppe von 8 Personen die Mahlzeiten gemeinsam einnehmen……

With only a few tweeks regarding the Pool size, up to date furniture and kitchen facilities it would become a real diamond. In the current state 4/5 Stars with a mid-range price/quality ratio. Great help, support and overall customer experience with the agency+owner.”

“Nice house and a fantastic garden. Cortona is a great place. The house wasn't very clean and the Air-Con is available but doesn't really cool the bed rooms upstairs on hot summer days. It's too expensive for what it is.”

“Die Lage ist einmalig. Wir wurden nicht informiert, dass das Restaurant geschlossen hatte. Das war schwierig in der Einsamkeit.Das Zimmer war sehr schön und das Personal bemüht, aber nicht auf Gäste vorbereitet.”

“Some may call it extravagant to rent an 8 bedroom house for two people, but I call it brilliant. This place is wonderful for the obvious reasons: the view, the pool, the jacuzzi, the copious space, the charming home. But, the secret and most clutch amenity is named Alice. She has exquisite taste and knows everyone and everything surrounding the property. She helped us get to the best butcher, and arrange the tours that truly made our trip magical. Gotta della Pieve is tiny and charming and……

“What a beautiful place. Staff was amazing, so helpful in every way. Lovely breakfasts in the garden. Their bartender fixes some incredible cocktails and the one night we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, everything was delicious. A word of advice: If you’re driving, insist on a SMALL rental car. Cortona is full of tiny curvy cobblestone streets some of which you must drive through to get to and from the hotel. We were offered an upgrade to a Jeep with the turning radius of a semi truck and……
