Having a car is recommended, as everything may be a bit too far for walking. The neighborhood of the hotel felt safe. There is a very small beach area with lounge chairs and umbrellas but you can't go in the water because it's very rocky. We had the standard king room with no view and it was right next to restaurant kitchen (room 104)- not ideal for light sleepers or those that want a more "luxurious feel", you may hear restaurant crew talking and moving furniture outside the room late night. Otherwise room was clean and had essentials. Staff were nice overall. Food at the restaurant at the hotel was okay but a bit pricey. Ish at the front desk was superb. Breakfast was included which was a nice feature. Happy hour snacks every afternoon. Shuttle would take you anywhere, although the location was perfect for us to be able to walk to local restos, Camana Bay. Room was very clean and met our needs. Beach access was perfect for us - staying here was actually closer walk to the gorgeous sandy beach than at some larger properties such as the Ritz. There are limited beach chairs (maybe 36 or so) but we didn’t have any issues getting chairs. Pool area is very cute/ Instagram worthy. On site restaurant Mrs Piper’s was very good! Overall we would return!
