This was our second visit in a year to this hotel and the greater Mackinac area. The owner is regularly at the property and is very gracious and attentive. We had an issue with our dog but the owner took care of it immediately and was very compassionate and understanding. We will return if we are in the area again.

We loved sitting on our private patio to view of the river & all the activities (wildlife, boaters, fisherman). Walked to the dam &watched the boaters go through the locks to get to the other side of River. We’d come back again.

At half the price of the place down the road, this properly is a real good value. Yes, it's an order building But right on the river and clean rooms, makes it a nice value place to stay.

Outside of building wasn’t too nice to look at but absolutely loved my room once inside. Beautiful view outside from my room. Great location. Would stay again.

Older hotel but a lot of work has been/is being put into it. Room was very clean and comfortable, convenient to local amenities, and really enjoyed the river view.

Too pricey
They have done some nice updates since I was there in May of 2023. Desk clerk was nice. I wasn't suppose to be billed until I got to the hotel but was the charge was placed on my credit card before I got there. Had to rehash the bill all over again costing me an extra $6.00. Seems to be over priced to me. No breakfast or exercise room. We had a lot of extra charges. It cost $25 for each of my two dogs so for two nights it was $100. Then we docked our boat in front of our room which was an extra $25.00 totaling $50. I think it would be more inviting if the dock charge was dropped.
