“Apart from the damp toilet and the lack of shampoo and conditioner, everything is fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included for a fee, which is nice as I was attending a conference at the university and there aren't that many food choices on campus. Only one canteen serves dinner, so be prepared to eat in the town. Overall, this place feels safe for solo travellers and is especially suitable if you are there for work at the university. “The receptions were very friendly and the staff was very helpful to carry out our luggage to the stairs and showed us the room; warm like a home. Except the male staff who were on duty while we checked out in the morning; he was the only staff in the reception and is not busy at all. “very close to the Bristol airport, very convenient if you arrive late night no reception or staff there to server (but it is very OK, so price is cheaper than others), just arrive and you can get into your room, nice decor new room, suggest to install a shower curtain because the water makes the toilet all wet (beware of the goat, haha)”

"Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep. "
