“Host was welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is not as described in the advertisement. It is part of the main house that has been closed off. The little fridge froze our food, no wine as per advertisement. Small and quite hot, no access to air conditioner to make it more comfortable.”

“The first thing that took our eyes when we walked in was the poorly wiped down glass top of the dining room table followed by the tatty dining room table chairs. Upon further inspection it is clear that the place has not had a thorough clean for quite some time. The Internet did not work when we arrived & we eventually discovered that the router which was in the walk in wardrobe of the main bedroom was turned off at the power point. ”

“Amenities very poorly maintained, dirty bed linen & all the pots and pans very oily & couldn’t get clean. Garden a mess. So bad that we couldn’t stay. Tried to contact host and asked for refund, he wasn’t interested. Is there anything you can do to get a refund?”

“Beautiful, spacious villa in a great location. Loved the pool, and having direct access to the park from the back gate was a real bonus. Comfortable, clean and well set up — we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.”
