“Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. ”

“The room was a bit cramped for two adults and a 10-year-old, but it was generally clean and well-maintained. However, the shower system was quite disappointing: it was extremely loud when turned on, and the water pressure was very weak. Additionally, the walls were very thin; we could clearly hear the neighboring room whenever their shower was in use, and the noise from their children playing was loud enough to make the walls shake. ”

“First night arrived in London, finding my way to Canary Wharf. Couldn't believe how beautiful and comfy the hotel is (compared to the one I slept in Venice, Italy). Great services, both attitude of the receptionists and service of breakfast. You should have breakfast at the hotel. It is comfy and relaxing!”

“Given that this is in Canary Wharf the Uber boat stop is about 20min away and the next metro about 15min. There was no grocery store around the corner and the non-smoking signs were a bit excessive. The complimentary coffee machine was usually out of service in the morning when you actually wanted the coffee. We arrived during the London marathon so we had to walk a bit till we reached the reception. It was noted in the elevator that the hotel could not be reached by car that day - as arriving……

“Standard of housekeeping need to improve”

“Stayed for 2 nights.Great location for Canary Wharf. Reception staff were welcoming. Lovely hotel but could be improved by attention to detail. On arrival to our room the shower gel had not been checked and was empty, cleanliness could be improved the room was quite dusty and there were stains on the carpet, the robes provided one had two fairly big holes in it and wasn't up to the 4* standard. Water and biscuits were not restocked on day two.The sauna and steam room area were a great asset but……

“Poor ventilation, so smelly esp from toilet. Poor drainage, floor inside toilet is flooded after bathing at night, & so it's slippery until next morning. Dusty over rack fir ha hanging clothing ”
