“I chose this place because the reviews were exceptionally good. I arrived and noticed there are no space to park on the street. You will have to move the car to the sidewalk. This is a large house that was converted to hostel. Average decorations with books and stuff are just placed at random place. Two people opened my room door and didn’t apologize. Toilet didn’t flush. Got electric shock while turning a knob to start a shower. Breakfast was terrible and mediocre at best, the lady who cooked……

“Always an excellent choice when we have to stay the night in san jose. The steakhiuse isbawesome. Breakfast is included and lovely. Rooms are beautiful.”

“Adriana, the property owner, was very welcoming. She covered all the logistics clearly and she also arranged for our shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. Our only issue was finding it as Costa Rica does not have street addresses. There was a map and description so we got close but needed help. Our taxi driver was able to phone Adriana for assistsnce.”

“We were really disappointed with our stay. Staff were very unhelpful. Hallways not clean. Given a room with a view of garbage cans and gas tanks. Another guest arrived on a red eye at 10 am and was told her room would not be ready until 2pm! Far from airport. Very limited ameneties, not even conditioner or enough towels. Will not stay here again ”

“Rented Delux room with A/C. Bed mattress was almost rock hard and made sleeping uncomfortable, Shower control handles were difficult to operate and water pressure and hot water changed constantly during shower time. We were not able to stay for free breakfast, but coffee was available:wrapped muffin was soft and and almost tasteless. ”

“Staff was friendly! The AC worked great. The complimentary breakfast was not bad. Their water, orange juice and coffee tasted great. The rest Taxi is not $4 like the hotel stated from the airport to here. It’s $10 or more, I got them to bring it down to $10. My friend said the same thing when she came from the airport to here as well. They told her $10…for less than 5 min away which is a ripoff. ”

“The National Park is located within walking distance, very clean and the staff are very friendly ”
