“We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view was absolutely amazing - the river and Mt. Baker are gorgeous. Everything is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating meals, playing games and working a puzzle on the large dining room table. The proximity to North Cascades was very convenient and allowed us to explore the park multiple times. Communication with the owner, Nick was pleasant and timely. Would love to come back someday!”

“Terri's home is a lovely place. We felt we were in a retreat center. The sustainable practices are noble, and we learned some things about decreasing our footprint on earth. Terri brought fresh veggies and beautiful flowers to the house for us. The home has many seating areas for dining, hanging out, crafting, creating, and relaxing (the tub was fabulous). The expansive front porch was perfect for breakfast and dinner and the circle porch area made a great outdoor yoga studio. The house is close……

“It is a cute, charming, comfortable place, with several features that make it truly special. It just looks cool, first of all, from the outside and inside, with interesting nooks and crannies, a small place but efficient and plenty big enough for the four of us. The ladder/stairs up to the loft are steep but wide, and our five-year-old handled it just fine, as did my wife and I, his grandparents. “Clean and quiet. No wifi or tv but it's got all the basics I needed after a whole day of hiking like working hot shower, fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The proximity to North Cascades trail is what made it great place to stay IMHO. Karen is a great host!”

“Comfortable, relaxing, and private little cabin perfect for a weekend getaway. Maple Falls is within easy walking distance, and the neighborhood loop is pleasant for a dog walk. Cabin was very clean, beds were cozy, and the tree-curtained porch was great for morning coffee. WOuld deifnitely come back!”

“This is a well maintained place....but it could use a couple of casual comfortable chairs to make sitting around a little easier. The address sent to us via VRBO was actually for the owner's house & not the place we were to stay in. This made the check-in by door code process a little confusing, but the landlord was available by phone & everything got sorted out.”

“This house was perfect for the needs of our group! The layout and setup of the beds worked great for us. The kids really enjoyed the backyard, especially the hot tub and basketball. They played outside until it was dark! The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking and baking projects. The location was great and allowed us to make trips to Deception Pass State Park (30 min) and go horseback riding at Lang’s Horse and Pony Farm (only 2 miles away!). “Adorable cabin, in a quiet town. Right next to a cute bar and grill with good burgers that you can walk to. The fire pit was really nice and many places around the area sold fire wood. Quick drive to the northern cascades national park and Diablo lake. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“Everything was exactly as described in their listing. Inside was beautiful & well decorated. Bed was amazing! Probably need to list 2 things in the listing. #1 Train tracks right next to property & it runs about every 2 to 3 hours. #2 Hot water last for about 2 showers if lucky. Otherwise, well done!”

“If I could give this place a 10 out of 5 I would. It is clearly loved by the owners and super simple and practical. It also has all of the modern amenities with the gas oven and griddle. The owners were super accommodating and communicative and the hot tub was icing on the cake. I’ve bath in the river that was steps away straight to the hot tub that we were able to get to the perfect temperature. A needed disconnect from our very busy lives. We will stay here again.
