“We had a wonderful time, and the house is great. It was spotless and great layout. The game room was so much added fun. Owner shared great information on the surrounding area. The deck was perfect for lazy afternoons and evenings. Only complaint, two upstairs single beds only had boxsprings on them. That left two of the guests sleeping on the couch and futon...not what we planned on but made the best of it. The benefits of the house far outweigh this one glitch.”

“We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch.”

You can either carry out your vacation on site or travel 30 minutes to Portland or just a little bit more to all of Maine's great beaches. “We had a nice relaxing stay. Cabin was very clean, nicely maintained, warm, cozy and perfect. Dave stopped by to greet us and provided insights and tips to local attractions. Location was close to several trails, hikes and waterfalls. We spent quality, peaceful time watching the river in the backyard. The only drawback I can think of is if you need internet access for work or study, plan accordingly as internet is spotty. We couldn’t not have asked for better relaxing getaway.”

“My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely log cabin in Jackson, NH. We were impressed with how solid and well-built the cabin is. The decor is simple and unique. As others mentioned, the 2 downstairs beds have very firm mattresses. An extra blanket on each for warmth as the nights get colder would be nice. The location is convenient, yet private and quiet. The owners have made it easy to know what to expect and their " house rules " are reasonable. We would stay there again.”

“From the minute we booked, George was incredibly friendly and helpful, sending us directions, restaurant reccomendations, and helpful videos to help ensure our stay is as good as possible! He called me as soon as we arrived to welcome us and give us an opportunity in case we had any questions. This cabin was wonderfully secluded and I don't think I've EVER seen so many stars at night. “Very cozy, clean and stylish home for our 3-day ski trip. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a great big table. Perfectly roomy for 2 families and we loved we could bring our pups. It’s a short walk to the Bear Back trail on Bear Peak and you’re right at the lift.”

“Came for a long weekend in the the winter for fun winter activities. We really enjoyed the nice kitchen (could use a better quality cutting board), large dining room table, comfy chairs and couch with lots of cozy blankets, and most of all the spectacular view out over the lake! As other have said, the distribution of beds/rooms is a bit unusual, with only one queen bed in its own room, and the other queen in an open loft, and no bathroom on the main floor, but it still worked out great for our……
