“We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this……

“The welcome at reception was very friendly with plenty of useful advice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bar was a pleasure and the breakfast/coffee room was well supplied. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay and only a ten minute walk to the town centre. Highly recommended.”

“It’s more picture perfect than the photos! We had a photographer meet us and the castle staff was incredible, allowing us to shoot the most amazing pictures. Great experience and amazing people!”

“Fantastic hotel, amazing staff and location perfect. The small town of Leighlinbridge had many hidden gems! Food was great, both breakfast and the restaurant. Only small niggle was the tired bedroom and en suite, which whilst perfectly functional, could do with a refresh.”

“Loved the vibe of this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and made the stay great. Rooms were clean, carpet was a little dated but still clean. Great location, with lots of eating and shopping options in walking distance. Bonus, Our room had a great view of the Kilkenny castle and it’s within walking distance.”

“There is no air conditioning but ceiling fan only, it will be hot during summer months like July and August. The staff in general are very helpful and sincere. The breakfast quality is good. ”

“A wonderful peaceful 3-day stop staying in the superior lodge room. The room itself comprised a spacious living area and a similarly large bedroom set a short walk from the castle itself. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of high quality options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area.”
