“The reason this hotel stands out is because it was just totally refurbished. You can still smell the new paint in my room. Apparently the Spark brand buys older hotels and then modernizes them up and redoes them. ”

“The hotel is 50 years old and it is charming in that aspect. That said, the bathrooms are tight and the rooms are pretty average size. However, they are as advertised and you shouldn’t get a room expecting a giant soak tub. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the river view balcony is very under advertised.
