"Outstanding! We wish we had booked a bit longer. The place is beautiful. Everything is very well-maintained, the pool is fantastic, and the surroundings are beautiful. It's a perfect spot for road cyclists. Our highlights were the lovely breakfast and the friendly staff. We enjoyed every minute and highly recommend stopping here."

"This is a very basic hotel, but the rooms are clean and the air conditioner worked, which was fantastic in the heatwave! The staff are also lovely.
If you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head for this night, it's perfectly suitable and very close to the train station."

"I never write reviews, but our stay here was so good it deserves a review. Everything is at a high standard. Tastefully built with great rooms, garden and pool area. Small in size, giving a near villa experience for us. Owners and staff are incredibly nice and service minded. Best total hotel experience we have had in Italy.
Good restaurants and winery’s in the area.
Can strongly recommend."

"Fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were excellent.
The only minor downside was that the room was a little warm at night, even with the air conditioning on. However, it was around 40°C outside, so that’s understandable."

"Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce lieux.
Gorgio est trés sympathique, nous avons passé une superbe soirée. Cuisine délicieuse, produits de grande qualité, nous nous sommes régalés.
Le petit déjeuner était trés bon aussi. Je recommande le gateau aux noisettes et le jus de pomme maison. Un régal!
Le lieux est trés tranquille, trés beau au milieu des vignes.
Superbe moment, je recommande."

We had a wonderful stay for two days in the Asti region of Italy. Naturalmente was charming and perfectly located near all the tiny towns in the surrounding area.

We stumbled upon the highlight of our journey at the breathtaking Cascina Tre Botti B&B, lovingly owned and operated by Lorenzo and Claudia, who gave us a warm and inviting welcome. As a side note, I narrowly avoided running over their lush peach tree. After settling into our room, we made dinner reservations and enjoyed a truly unforgettable meal, just the two of us, as everyone else had ventured into town. We would have never made reservations, expecting someone just to cook for the two of us...

I would highly recommend staying at Laficaia wine resort if you are visiting the Mombaruzzo area. Enrico and Mauro were truly wonderful hosts and made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The property is beautiful and the views are incredible! The pool was fantastic during the hot days. Breakfast was also delicious each morning. We had dinner one night down the road in town and the hosts offered to drive us there and pick us up after which was extremely kind and...

Wow! Great, large room with warm and soft bedding, an absolutely beautiful vista overlooking a vineyard, wonderful hosts, and fine food. Thank you, Francisco, for being so welcoming. It's just a hop and skip to Neive and Barbaresco with their stunning vistas and vineyards.

Room Tip: Don't let Asti get you down....this place is a good find.

This was our second visit and we’ve had a great time again. The swimming pool is a huge benefit especially in the summer as it’s covered. The restaurant is fantastic- we would be happy to be back again.

We stayed at this hotel in May 2026 — a beautifully renovated monastery that could not be more stunning. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the pool area looks like something from a storybook. The interior is divinely elegant. Our room was the suite on the top floor overlooking the charming town of Canelli, Italy. The suite was exquisitely designed with a king‑size bed, a top‑notch bathroom, and a living room with stone walls and a fireplace. It was the most beautiful place I have ever...

The place was beautiful. The rooms were exquisite. The attention of the front desk was very nice and polite. The waiters were extremely nice and attentive. Specially Pilal and his brother. We arrive late because our plane delayed.

Excellent property grounds with grapevines surrounding us; on site pool, spacious rooms. Only negative is lack of air conditioning or even a ceiling fan / any fan -- this made it challenging to sleep at night in late August; keep that in mind if you are coming from the US and used to lower sleeping temperatures. Breakfast and dinner (optional, for a fee) were excellent and I'm a picky eater. The property offers a selection of great wines that they produce as well. Highly recommend for a unique...

The best area to stay in Cortiglione is directly within the village center, particularly around the Piazza del Municipio, for convenient access to local amenities and a peaceful experience.
Cortiglione's village center offers a quiet, unhurried pace, superb for those seeking a relaxing Italian countryside getaway. The main square, Piazza del Municipio, is the heart of the village, surrounded by a few local shops and dining options. Many of the accommodations are renovated historic buildings, providing an authentic local feel. It's a small, walkable area where you can easily reach everything on foot.
For couples looking for a tranquil escape, staying in the village center is ideal. You'll find charming guesthouses and boutique hotels that offer a calm environment, often with beautiful views of the surrounding Monferrato hills. It's a wonderful base for enjoying leisurely walks, savoring local cuisine, and simply unwinding together.
Travelers who appreciate local culture and a slower pace will find the village center appealing.
When is the best time to go to Cortiglione?
The best times to visit Cortiglione are during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to June) and early autumn (September to October).
During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild, making it ideal for exploring the rolling hills and vineyards of Piedmont. Spring brings blooming wildflowers and fresh produce, while early autumn offers the spectacle of grape harvesting and vibrant fall foliage, along with truffle season beginning in late September. You'll also find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and authentic experience.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the serene beauty and opportunities for leisurely wine tastings and scenic drives without the summer rush. The comfortable temperatures are superb for long walks through the countryside or enjoying an al fresco meal.
For those interested in culinary experiences, early autumn is particularly rewarding.
