Espacioso, 1 dormitorio, justo en la base!

La ubicación compleja de Axtel no tiene mejor ubicación, justo en la base del ascensor Silver Queen en Mount Crested Butte. Disfrute de comodidades adicionales como wifi gratuito y jacuzzi comunitario al aire libre para observar la actividad del área de base. Estacionamiento para 1 en el lugar, estacionamiento de desbordamiento disponible para 1 vehículo adicional si es necesario.

Este condominio de 1 habitación y 1 baño completo se encuentra en la ladera del Silver Queen Lift en el segundo piso. Encontrará la sala acogedora con una chimenea de leña (preferimos los duralogs) y TV de pantalla plana. Cocina pintoresca con encimeras renovadas, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y totalmente equipada. Hay un pequeño rincón para comer justo al lado de la cocina, con capacidad para dos personas para disfrutar de una buena comida. Asientos adicionales para 2 más ubicados en la barra de desayuno de la cocina. Amplio dormitorio principal con cama king y TV de pantalla plana. Esta unidad cuenta con dos balcones, uno de la sala de estar que se ve en la actividad de la zona de la base y una adicional de la habitación principal que mira hacia el sureste hacia las montañas Axtel y Red Lady. Lavadora apilada y secadora ubicada en el armario del pasillo. Estacionamiento para 1 en el lugar, estacionamiento de desbordamiento disponible para 1 vehículo adicional si es necesario.

El Mountain Express Shuttle GRATUITO funciona durante todo el año para el transporte hacia y desde el pueblo de Crested Butte y las áreas circundantes. Axtel se encuentra a poca distancia del principal centro de tránsito. El horario de verano se ejecuta cada 20 minutos; horario de invierno se ejecuta cada 15 minutos; las estaciones del hombro cada 40 minutos.

We stayed for a week in July celebrating our 40th anniversary and to enjoy a cooler and dryer climate. It was lovely! Our VRBO was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed a couple of the board games and the cross wind between the two balconies. It was comfortable and clean and supplied with all we needed.

Had everything we needed for 2 night stay. We love the Axtell building location and we’re happy to find a one bedroom since that’s anll we needed. Only recommendation would be adding a screen to sliding glass door off bedroom. Also washing extra blankets.

Ski lodging

Great location. Access from parking to the unit was challenging with lots of stairs to navigate with luggage. Bed room window which opens toward parking lot did not have window coverings which is a major issue. The ski in ski-out location is awesome.

Perfect location

Great place, on the slope, clean and comfortable. We did not receive the check-in instructions until we called and the room lacked coffee (only decaf)and cups(only lips), so the first morning was rough. They need an elevator too.

Great place to stay, not the easiest to get your stuff to

This room is great and literally overlooks the lifts at the base of the mountain. The only down side is that the trek from the parking lot to the room is somewhat difficult. The building faces the slopes and has no way to reach the parking lot from the room without walking all the way around down / uphill. Besides that it was great!

Kitchen fully stocked The bathtub has jets - better and lornepricate than a hot tub! My only complaint was the mattress was really saggy on one side. Other than that, beyond impressed and would definitely recommend!

Ski in/out

Bring a suitcase you can carry upstairs and across the snow because this unit is right at the chair lift! So convenient for taking a break during lunch. Recommend bringing an extra blanket/bedding to keep extra warm during cold nights. Only basics are provided.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good location if you like to be close to summer activities on the mountain. The condo was clean and comfortable. The only downside for us was you could hear the people upstairs walking around, chairs scooting on the floor and when they used the shower or toilet you could hear it our unit. Not sure we would stay in this unit again because of the noise. This was the first time we had stayed in the Axtell building. We have stayed in other condos on the mountain that are not as noisy The kitchen had everything we needed

Construction Outside

It was a nice little room for just my husband and I, just didn’t love having to park in a different parking lot because of the construction crew that was outside all of the days we were in town. Not very quiet. Lol.

Off the beaten path of Crested Butte

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a pretty decent place to stay. Location is good, Close to action on Mt. CB and to the shuttle to get to CB. The Kitchen is small but functional, most all utensils you need. The bathroom is OK. Bed/mattress was better then expected. Living room is good and couch is decent shape. WiFi is fair to OK; Need to invest in sliding glass doors, probably the original doors and very hard to open. Being summer, not a lot of good restaurant options nearby.

The only complaint I have is that everytime the toilet was flushed it looked like it was going to overflow. I called maintenance who came and stated that it was not the plumbing but the toilet is very old and not water efficient. In this day of being energy efficient, it's a real shame that so much water is being wasted.

Can’t top the location for skiing

Stayed as a family of 4 with two younger kids and were cozy but comfortable. Literally walk out your door to the two main base lifts.

Great location

Access to the property is poor at best. There is no access from the west side parking lot to the east side stair wells without using the neighboring buildings staircase and carrying your luggage through the snow about 40 yards. Unloading and loading the vehicle should not be this difficult or time consuming given the checkin is 4pm or later. The condo itself is comfortable and perfectly located at the ski lift. Well appointed and has all the necessary items for a pleasant stay.
