“My husband and I loved the peacefulness of the location. Fortunately the weather was beautiful for the middle of May so the back deck was very relaxing. Having your own driveway was nice because you knew if you left you weren’t hunting for a space like at a traditional hotel. Would definitely recommend this to our friends.”

“They unit was clean all appliances were in good condition as well as the furnishings. The heating and cooling systems fan was noisy but provided comfortable temperature levels quickly. Instructions for operation of the TV would be helpful it went to a blank screen or froze multiple times. The stay was enjoyable and the items mentioned above were not something that would prevent a return or a recommendation.”

“Needed a little get-away not too far from home. This little cottage is perfect in so many ways. It's in a quiet, private neighborhood. Parking is convenient with circular drive. Don't skip the history of the area and home in the welcome notebook. We fell in love with the Crab Orchard Stone on the house. “This is a great little cabin if you don't have a large group. It's in a quiet area with a nice view and it was clean. It had most things that you would need but a few that were a bit of a surprise weren't there.... no blankets of any kind and the kitchen had only the very basic supplies. If you like blenders, serving dishes or vegetable pealers you should plan to bring them. It was chilly in the evenings and a few simple throw blankets would have been cozy in the living room.
