“Fun pool for kids”

“We stayed here overnight for 4th weekend. The property was very clean, staff was kind and welcoming. We have a dog and there are two places for restroom with doggie bags and a trash can! They even give you a door tag to let the cleaners know you have a dog. We also got welcome and departure water bottles, which was amazing after and before a day of travel. The hotel is attached to the casino and you can stay within the building to access it. We went for an hour or so and had a nice time! It was……

“The staff members that we did interact with were phenomenal! Very friendly, very helpful. I loved that they offered different breakfast options every morning as well. The room we stayed in appeared to have been very quickly cleaned up, very recently. There was toilet paper still in the peephole from the previous guest, and just didn’t feel CLEAN clean. “We had difficulty with the check-in process due to booking through Expedia. Couldn't find our reservation. Other than that everything was fine. ”

“This is one of the few chain hotels close to Nauvoo. After checking in, I decided I would’ve rather driven 3 hours south to get to St. Louis than stay close to Nauvoo at this hotel. It didn’t feel clean. It smelled of bleach and random fragrant smells that differed between rooms. The breakfast looked gross. There was pubic hair all over the floor in the bathroom. I’m not sure why the reviews are favorable. This isn’t much better than a super 8. The female night manager/worker talked so much……

“Overall the experience was good. My only issues were that my window ended up facing another building. I didn't mind it too much so it wasn't a huge issue. Just a heads up for others that it may be a possibility. The other issue was that the exhaust in the bathroom runs non-stop. There is no switch to turn it off.
