“Our five day stay was excellent. Description and pictures of the property are accurate and appropriately inviting. Location is very convenient to Geneva and the other fine Fox River towns. Hosts were gracious, responsive and helpful. Bikes in the garage were nice and the screened in porch and backyard sitting area very inviting. We hope to be back next time in town visiting extended family.”

“The property is very nice, newly remodeled and beautifully decorated. Needs just a few practical items for the rooms in the basement, which I suggested to the owner but otherwise it was perfect for our trip back to visit family. We would have loved to have been able to sit outside on the nice back deck, but we got some rain while we were there. Would definitely stay here again!”

We enjoyed the deck, yard, fireplace, and shed. The spacious layout allowed for guests to move about as needed, but yet spend intimate time visiting. “Great location and plenty of room for family to gather. 5 bedrooms provide various sleeping arrangements and options. The house is cluttered with items in the closets, laundry room, and cupboards not very organized, but it had all the necessities for our visit. Enjoyed the large living room/kitchen area for family to play games and hang out.”

“It was a bit of a weird start as the booking listed 3 bedrooms with 3 beds. When we arrived there were only 2 beds. We are family so we made due and the owners were very actively trying to find solutions. Mistakes happen. Overall it was a nice stay.”

After some questioning I was told that the previous tenant flooded the upstairs by leaving the bathtub on and the unit was uninhabitable. Due to their inexperience, they left the refrigerator full and dirty. It was the maid that ultimately did not complete the clean. Didn’t bother me but be aware long flight of stairs up, train goes by often, never really heard it from bedroom but you can hear it in living room not super loud just in background.
