"When we opened the door to our section of the hotel, after walking down several walkways, we were hit with a wall of chemical smell, probably masking years of notes air, or smokers. The room was just as bad. No way was it healthy to be breathing that in. We were only hopeful that our clothes did not pick up that smell."

"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was good, which was one of the few positive aspects of my experience. Unfortunately, housekeeping was a major issue. My room was not cleaned for the entire week I stayed there. After the third day, I contacted the front desk and was told a request would be entered into the system for my room. The following day, nothing was done. I then spoke with the manager, who blamed a new system update for the housekeeping issues. She personally cleaned my bathroom and left a note stating that housekeeping would return the next day to fully service the room. Once again, no one showed up. To make matters worse, when I first arrived, the room did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. After a long flight, I was too exhausted to deal with changing rooms, so I went to the store and purchased disinfecting wipes to clean the room myself. I chose this hotel instead of the one I normally stay at, and I regret that decision. The lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and failure to follow through on promises made this a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning."

"Great place to stay. Great Pool and Hot tub, However the flooring by the pool/Hot tub was very slippery. My suggestion don't use the tile that is in there but a pool side rougher material. So you do not end up with a lawsuit from someone slipping. Other than that, we really were pleased with our stay."

"The property had everything that I needed. It is located conveniently to the local restaurants, Chicago Metra train station, and was close to the Illinois Railroad Museum, which was my primary reason for going here. The room was clean, quiet, and sufficiently setup with the basics like towels and cleansing products. The breakfast bar was setup nicely with foods that I liked."
